About us

Mike and Val Herbert live on the west coast of Norway where they enjoy the splendid nature of fjords and mountains.

However after visiting Iceland in 1996 they found the land of Ice and Fire almost an addictive location for holidays both in the summer and winter. We have a very special offroad vehicle which helps us get around to many remote places. You can see details of our very special truck on "The Truck" side

We can also offer planning advice for that very special vacation in Iceland, particulary to many places that are very remote so not often visited.

On our web page you will also find lots of photo's of our other interests, such as photographing the Northern lights, and other atmospheric light effects notably Noctilucent clouds which are night shining clouds which are seen in the summer months mostly between 40 and 60 degrees north.
